Keeping cool

Still no heatwave here - hardly any sun at all, but perfect temperatures. Washing dried outside no problem. We had a barbecue and ate outside, not something we do that often as it’s easier to sit in the dining room with the patio doors open.

I have no problem with keeping cool inside, even when there is no need! I took fabric from my shelves and made a tablecloth for outside. And I finished another flag - only two behind now. The idea for this one was sewing into paper. I have a box full of handmade paper so delved into that, added a bit of lace and some cuttings from an old children’s magazine.

Perhaps the heatwave will reach us eventually . . . or not, hopefully. I like these nicely warm summer days. I don’t need extreme. But then I don’t need much of an excuse to stay inside in the cool!
