Charity shop treasures
A fab day, with lunch at Chez Jules. At £11.90 for three courses, with gratis olives, baguette, green salad and salami, it is spectacular value. Delicious too and with great service. A little taste of France in the city. We wondered back via Susie's favourite clothes shop, Jane Davidson, where their sale rail offered up some fab bargains, including Armarni and Missoni trousers for just £10 each. Then we hit the charity shops on our way home, picking up the box set of The Wire (the epic crime drama that seems to never be streamed) and a pristine album of the sounds of Hawaii from 1963 for £1. Susie also found a great shirt for Harvie.
