It was Balloch Highland Games today and I took a stroll over, partly to take some photos, partly to help socialise the dog to crowds and noise and also to support the games, the first since covid.
Nice wee afternoon and I shot off 787 frames trying a variety of things with the athletics including panning for speed. Easy enough to find 30 or so for Facebook but what one for a blip?
In the end despite wondering about tartan, bagpipes and Pipe Bands; I went for 'tossing the caber' which is probably pretty unique to Scotland. The idea is to throw the caber so that it turns completely over and in fact there was only one throw that managed it.
A nice wee day
