Sunflower

Our Ukrainian guest (hence the sunflower) is a really nice man. I told him this evening that we’re going on holiday in a couple of weeks and wondered if he’d be ok to look after the animals and the house on his own, and he just smiled and said “cool”.

He cooked again today. I marvel at the salt, sugar and oil consumption involved. I’ve gathered from others that this is very normal.
