Blakeney

Today was a toss up between two shots, this and another of a duck making some footprints on the marshes. To be fair the two together would tell the true story of the day. At first we walked (a long way) around the National Trust marshes at Blakeney before booking a trip to see the seals setting off from Morston Quay a short car journey away. After a hearty meal in Blakeney we set off to see the seals on a boat, and weren't disappointed. I love coming to North Norfolk at this time of year, there are few crowds and everywhere feels so serene. I guess these two lazy (potential ton and a half) oafs quite like the peace and quiet as well, although the birds nesting on Blakeney point did all they could to disturb the tranquility.
