HoT HoT HoT

Today was our Green Man Festival and it was scorchingly hot. For Covid reasons we've not had a festival for two years so this was wonderful - except for the heat!  I went out late in the afternoon and the High St was still heaving and Rotary Park was filled with folk sitting in any shade they could find, enjoying the food and drinks on offer! The ice cream man was doing very well and judging by the faces of those eating them, they were going down a treat - but one had to eat / lick fast as they were melting everywhere!
Needed a hat when out today...phew.
Spoke to son in Spain - he has visitors for 2 weeks and they were in the city 'doing sights' in 40˚ heat!  Aaargh!
