Troll dog

Early start for all of us today. Dropped mum off at the train station to go back home after packing the rest of the camper. Not helped by upstairs daughter arriving at 1.30am this morning and setting Kilda off. Took the dogs for a session in the field before the long drive to Wales to tire them out. It was hot and Darwin ran around like an idiot and drank loads of water. Managed to get to Abingdon services and let them out for a wee stop and then headed off. Got close to Blackpool and Darwin started to whine, fortunately Lancaster services with only a couple of miles away and he just held on for us to get there. 5 long wee’s later we were off again, maybe not fully thought the field trip out. It was the normal long slog into Wales on the dual carriageway but we arrived at the campsite for 5pm. Got the awning up and a few things unpacked and then went down to the lake so J could register for her swim tomorrow to save doing it in the morning. Met SR there as well and had a nice walk around the lake before stopping off to get fish suppers as we couldn’t be bothered cooking. Went back to the campsite to eat them and then finally feed the dogs.
