Stages Of Sunflower

I used to wonder why Van Gogh got so obsessed with painting Sunflowers----until I started photographing them!  I love them at every stage.  Even as they decline, they can make interesting photographic subjects.  I was tempted to make a collage to put into the extras, but I will put a few more on my Facebook post along with a couple of Odonata shots.  I heard the Heron today, but did not see him at all.  Thanks to Biker Bear for hosting.....
