Cooling off

Went for a run this morning with Darwin and the Cani sport club. It was warm but at least there are plenty of water stops on the route for Darwin to cool off in. Gave Darwin a bath when we got back as he smelt a bit from day care before going out for a much needed haircut. Weeded and tidied up the front of the house in the afternoon before walking down to see RD and FM’s new house. It’s a nice walk down and Darwin was well behaved when he got there, especially as he’d not seen RD’s mum for a long time. Nice BBQ with them and a catch up. Left just after 11pm and walked home. Not sure we would want to do the walk back in the winter in the dark.
