Tulips again

I took another batch of tulip pics today - these ones and the dark maroon parrot (which is nearly finished).
These ones have always had a pinkish tinge but as they have got older the pink has deepened, though the inner petals are still very pale.
Today was some housework, then a run, then a trip to the recycling with a boot load of garden rubbish (they've closed the nearest one so it's now a round trip of 15 miles but when we got back we found the extra big bin I'd requested had been delivered so that will cope with most of teh stuff I can't compost).
I finally got the potatoes in so am caught up with the veg, now it's the flower beds to sort.
Good news is there is one shoot still on the eucalyptus - but yesterday's forest has been clear felled!
