Lavenders blue dilly-dilly
Lavender blue, dilly-dilly
Lavenders green
When I am king, dilly-dilly
You shall be queen
Thus went an old song i learned in my childhood. These ones were snapped on my way home this evening.
Beautiful day, so relaxed. We woke early, before 6, because of the heat. Got up and managed some gardening (chopping down nettles and so on) before I got too hot. More podcasts on the go while I worked. Hung up some washing. It dried in thirty seconds.
Steve got the finance sorted for the car, but we haven't heard back so presumably the MOT was not fitted in today. We are not carless, no immediate urgency.
I walked downtown to meet my friend K for lunch. Sat inside because it was cooler and I have nettle rash again. Had buttermilk chicken and chips, but wished I'd had a salad instead. Better for a hot day. Afterwards I went round a few charity shops and found a couple of books.
Walked home, lay around because it was too hot to do much. Lay down to listen to a podcast and fell asleep! Woke up when the next YouTube video came on. UK now has more new CoVid cases than ever before. Previous record was set in April '22. 1 person in 15 in England now has CoVid. I think I need some good quality masks.
Back out again to Brick Row for evening meditation. I've met a good group of people there. Next week is the last session, until after the summer break.
