Phalacrocorax auritus
Day 6 of Godwit Days. This is a Double-Crested Cormorant, so-called, as you might expect, for his double crests. I've been birdwatching 13 years and I've never seen a double-crested Double-Crested Cormorant before--they take on their breeding plumage for only a brief time.
