Missing trees

Another shot of the ash dieback consequences - this time taken from the road as I walk up to the bridge to cross the stream into the fields. Usually you can’t see the field from this point - the bridge is further on - but they’ve been using it as a way into the field, I assume.

I met up with some people from other parts of the university for lunch today. We’d done an online course together a while ago and one of them suggested meeting up. I wasn’t sure I’d really recognise them but luckily we met outside the library so it wasn’t too hard. I’m not very confident with groups of people I don’t know well but it was nice to hear about their experiences working at the uni.
