Hawsers in miniature

I armed myself with an extension tube this evening, looking for miniature scenes.  This doesn't look like much, but in the glare of the low sun it was quite tricky to check the focus.  And those threads are stretched taut, a bit like hawsers on a moored ship, or the suspension cables on a bridge.

I'll try and get my blip earlier tomorrow, not leaving it until the time for locking the church.
