Hawkweed
This particular species of Hawkweed is known as Fox-and-cubs. According to Google Fox-and-cubs is so called because the open flowers (the fox) appears alongside the flower buds (the cubs).
This morning I had to take my car to get a wee scrape attended to so after leaving it with James Fouter and I walked the couple of miles back home. Plenty of gardens and flowers to admire as we walked. One particular house had a rather neglected front lawn and this Hawkweed was growing right in the middle of what used to be grass.
