Dragon hunting...

Slightly (!) cooler today so I got out for a solo wander along the local creek, after taking some stuff to the clothes bank.  Had hoped to see a lot of Dragons and Damsels but it seems to be very quiet on that front at the moment, and chatting to others on a FB group they are finding the same all over the country!  A little worrying but maybe they're just biding their time and will appear on mass soon!  Did spot this lovely chap though - and then, of course, when I got home I got to see 2 Dragons in the garden!!  Could have saved my legs the exercise!

Drama here last night with the electric awning at the back of the house deciding it didn't want to retract!!  Not so good when the wind was picking up a little! Cue frantic google searches and happy to say that after a couple of hours of leaving it to cool, swearing at it, spritzing it with WD40 and using a bit of brute strength we finally got it back in!!  We' ve had it for over 15 years so it's done us proud... too scared to use it today just in case  it went haywire again!
