At the refugee centre as usual. The windows and garden door were open to the breezes, keeping us nice and cool, but adding to the work of the crèche, who had to cover both inside and outside.
D had some work done on his studio today. It’s like the cabin of a very small boat, with everything shipshape and compact.
I’m really enjoying my Woodbrooke course on the Quaker Renaissance, a major shift in the late 19th century, and something I knew nothing about. As usual, the other participants seem so knowledgeable, but I don’t think any of us are very familiar with this period. There are definitely parallels with things going on with Quakers today.
