A Male Ruddy Darter

A Guy on Flickr has corrected my name for it so this is now correct (I hope)
Had a fabulous day off yesterday (although I did get burnt shoulders ) 
I finally made it to a ladies garden/meadow to take some bug pictures. I photographed her dog last winter and I've been trying to visit for ages but other issues got in the way. Crazy as its five mins down the road from me and as the crow flies about 30 seconds!
Was there from between 1pm and 5pm in a vest top but I did put thick army camo trousers on to protect my legs from stingers, bugs and sunburn.
I was in heaven! Had a flask of coffee with me two cameras and just sat there and soaked up natures beautiful bugs.
used Nikon D850 with Nikons 200mm lens and the Nikon Z7ii with Laowa 100mm on.

So long as I let her know I can go whenever I like and even while she's not there so that's lovely of her.
