As big as Ivy’s head

Got home before 9am! The sleeper arrived in London at just before 7 and I legged it off the train down to Waterloo and home.  Another warm and sultry day.

Walking round my garden was fun, seeing what had come up, worrying about other plants. The usual gardener stuff. The dahlias are largely single, for the bees but in the raised beds I have some mad ones…this is the biggest so far, Bohemian Spartacus - not many yellow petals on this one, i wonder if it isn’t quite sunny enough in that bed
A lot of meeting zooms and Wendy and I were both struggling with lack of sleep.

Went over to Mum’s to prep her for her journey to Edinburgh tomorrow and home to water the plants.

Lovely supper outside.
