Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

It's almost time

Spotted these along the water of Leith this evening. The ones I tasted were almost perfect, I may have to try some more tomorrow!
Today in preparation for a houseful at the weekend I had the joy of somebody cleaning my house this morning. Having a cleaner is one thing I have really missed since retiring. Normally I have no real excuse for not doing it myself, except I can always think of something better that I could be doing. Today though, my broken wrist makes hoovering very difficult (it may continue to do so for many months I hope, I wonder how long I can push it). The house is looking sparkling. Won't last long though.
8 went into town this afternoon to Join Lewis and Clarins for another few facial. So nice and relaxing and very complimentary about my good skin. Luck rather than effort on my part I fear.
I bought some ridiculously small socks for Josie while I was out.
The first of our visitors arrives tomorrow from Berlin. Bridesmaid#1. We also had a call from a friend who's down from the Highlands. Her husband is in the Royal having had surgery so she and I are doing coffee tomorrow morning. I'm looking forward to catching up.
