Make Bernard Cribbins Proud

This was today's effort getting ready for the pond.
It arrived today and it will fit into that space once the rest of the earth is dug out.

I was recycling the soil into a large planter across the other side of the garden, sieving out the stones and weed roots so that's why progress was slower than expected, but the rest of it can be dumped onto the tarp and then sieved back in to level and support the sides.

I had help from TheMr to dig out the final spiky plant ...I think it will go back into the far corner to give a little shade over the pond. Fingers crossed it survives!

Had a short stroll out with his Puppyness just before eight, nice and cool at last! Sadly there's a great deal of bird corpses on the beach so as per the notice on the gateway to the coastal path will give them a ring in the morning.
