Lochside walk.

…. continued from yesterday; the car warranty tale. We returned to the dealership. A couple of short face to face conversations about the T&Cs of this specific warranty, production of our documents, some emails by them to the manufacturer….and then my wife got a phone call to agree the repair is in scope, as we’d said. The car is booked in for next week. Morale of the story is really know your warranty T&Cs and stick to your obligations! And keep paperwork.

I dropped my wife off later, she was meeting her sister. The hotel they planned to go to for lunch was closed to public, taken over for a golf tour this week. The 150th Open is big business.

I’d a walk around the Loch and when speaking to my older son on the phone his mother-in-law passed going the other way - so we’d a three way chat. Small world. To think almost a year ago to today we were in wedding finery!

Younger son and a friend went to the Open in St. Andrews. First day of play tomorrow.
