Tribute to Ling!

15°C  -  11 mph WNW Wind Speed  -  17 mph Gusts  -  Cloudy.  I’ve been sifting through old photographs this afternoon and decided to photograph this one of my cat Ling short for Schmetterling and called so on account of her vivid blue eyes  -  sadly not apparent in this photo. The reason it occurred to me was because I’d been reading Ursula K. Le Guin’s ‘No Time to Spare’ where she talks about her cat in ‘Doggerel for My Cat’.  Le Guin’s cat is male but her poem did remind me so much of Ling.  Here's a LINK to the Doggerel.
