a hike to the reservoir

I knew it was going to be another hot one today, so Laney and I headed out early(ish) for a hike to the reservoir. Well it was already hot, but we took lots of breaks for water and pictures. I was pleased to see some wildflowers, birds, bees, fritillaries, and at last the cooling reservoir. Now we have no need for an (even hotter) afternoon walk.
