The toys helped!!

Digital group today and we were looking at how to achieve the Tin type app effect in Photoshop. We used :  How to Transform a Photo into the Look of an Aged, Antique, Wetplate Collodion by Marty from blue lightning TV.  

( The original process used light sensitive chemicals on glass, rather than on paper as glass is a more stable surface than paper and less expensive than iron or copper used for Tin Types and Daguerreotypes respectively.  The wet plate collodion process was sensitive only to blue light:  Warm colours appear dark and cool colours appear uniformly light!)

Quite cold this morning, compared to other days!  but it has changed to a lovely fresh sunny day!  
Time to do some cooking before art group tonight!!
