TIDDLY OM POM POM

Hubby joined other volunteers for a work party down at Kents Bank Station this morning.  Then after lunch went up is allotment.

I had to take G to the dentist today.  We were very lucky and BUPA managed to fit him in for an emergency appointment.  It turns out he has cracked a tooth.  This is probably going to mean having a half crown put on.  This will have to be sorted in Edinburgh.  

Now G is supposed to have an NHS Dentist already, but not only are they the ones that caused his recent dental problems due to over filling, that the past three times he's  had an appointment they've cancelled.  He just cannot get an appointment.  He has also tried contacting everying single dentist in Edinburgh and none are currently taking NHS patients, even though some of their websites say they are.  Apparenlty one of them told us the website is "pre-covid and has not been updated"!!!!

So it  will mean having to delve into savings toget work done privately!!!! There are many people  having major problems with NHS dentists at the moment.  It's just unbelievable.  They all seem to want to be private because earning somewhere around £84,000 to £115,000 is not enough!!!!  Sorry that's just a little rant, I just find it so unbelievable.  

Whilst G was at the Dentist I went for a walk along the prom to stretch my legs.  It was still pretty warm along there in sheltered places but there was a lovely breeze blowing.

After this I had to take for an INR blood test, which again our surgery stepped up to the mark and managed to squeez him in, just happens to be the same day.  His INR level has gone down drastically over the last three weeks so this means a change to his warfarin, again.  Further appointment booked in Edinburgh for when  he goes back next week.

G did have one of his woozy attacks on the way home, due to the low INR, so that's it for today.  He is resting up now and feeling much better.
