Dear O'H dear & Lovely Tea Jenny,

We went up the Eiffel Tower because obviously you can’t come to Paris and not*. After we had wandered around, we sat in the shade on the 1st floor, having lunch with spectacular views of Paris, my favourite part. Just a normal day - hanging out, on the tower, with the fam!

We all needed a break from the heat so headed back to the hotel for a couple of hours. The Mini Princesses cooled down using the AC. The Prince and I cooled down with a beer outside in the shade!

After dinner, we headed back in on the metro and did a boat cruise along the Seine, a very pleasant thing to do** in the evening with a breeze before going to the Arc de Triomphe which both Mini Princesses said was their favourite thing so far in Paris. Partly because it is so spectacular and partly because of the amusement of the traffic on the roundabout which is so crazy that it looks like an arcade game. Given The Youngest Mini Princess’s recent roundabout lane faux pas, we said she should just explain to her driving instructor that she only abides by Paris rules!

*I have only been to Paris once before. It was winter and the weather was so bad that it was closed. Obviously I can only visit Paris in extreme weather conditions!

**despite the weird pseudo-sexual audio commentary which was meant to be a bloke talking to the Seine. Except it sounded like he had inappropriate and unrequited feelings about her!
