The Creek in Flood……

There was an amazing change in the weather overnight. Yesterday was wet, very wet with a strong south-east wind. Margaret, Emily and I walked into town late morning. We were unable to walk the riverside tracks and paths because of the very extensive flooding along the river. This view is of Doctors Creek. The arched wooden bridge is isolated and the view of it is obscured by a branch of the poplar tree. We checked the area late this afternoon and I was pleased to see the flood waters had subsided and access to the bridge is possible.
