More Minkying About
A morning looking after the wee one. We took her over to the boat which is on the pontoon, probably causing her mother great terror at the very thought. Her first visit aboard. Time to buy a little lifejacket.
Then over to the beach and her nursery class were all there so we mingled with them. What a handful. After they’d cleared off we made Rosie a little boat of her own on the sand.
Later, a visit to the SK’s aunt as her son is away and we’re tasked with doing “the messages.” We buy her six Bakewell tarts and the SK promptly scoffs two of them after handing them over. Shocker.
Then the nursery pickup and ferrying.
And in between times an “ishhoo”has blown up at the club which the Commodore is attending to with his usual diplomacy and tact and size eleven sailing boots. My attempts to inject a little logic and humour should do the trick. And I also set up a WhatsApp group for the sailing secretary. I can imagine that one sinking before long too.
