The Best Day Ever

Where to start. 
This is why my blipping has been put on hold. I've been reliving this day since Saturday. This day was centred around Bob, Rob's Dad, so we could all celebrate his 90th as a family. So in the morning Rob, Jess and I get everything ready. Get the tables set up outside and prosecco in the fridge. Jack arrives about 2.45 and Jennie and Adam arrive around 3. We have a lovely time in the comfy seats on the gravel but eventually moved to under the shade of the trees as it was bloody hot. Stayed sat there for another few hours doing the usual then moved to the table in the garden for our food, cheersing and cake. And that was all we needed for a bloody good memory filled day. 
BUT 
It gets to probably about 8.30 and Adam suggests we all have a photo together. What a lovely idea we all think. He and Rob go over to near the arch way bit to set up the phone/camera. Rob is being a dick and posing to check where we all need to stand to get us all in.  So off we troll to get in position and a photo is taken and then he says lets take another. All the girls stand in front of the men so we all oblige. Then he counts - like you do when a photo is to be taken - 1,2,3 but adds in ‘turn round’ so we do (Jessica thinks it’s a fun photo so in turning round does a twerk - looks hilarious on the video - because obviously he's set up a video not a photo) and then he does the deed and proposes to Jennie who doesn't have a clue what is going on. I suspect Jennie looked like me when we found out she was pregnant for the first few seconds. She really wasn’t expecting it (well none of us were, except Rob as he'd been in on it for months) and had accepted that it wasn’t going to happen for years especially now with the baby. (Still really surreal saying that) And then we drank more prosecco - thankfully I had a bottle that had been left by one of the NCT lot as I'd only bought 3!! And everyone went off home around 9.30ish. 
Now for the run up. Adam had been planning it for a while apparently and had ordered the ring even before the baby news. Rob knew as Adam always said that he’d do the traditional thing and ask Rob for Jennie’s hand so the pair of them had been ‘plotting’. I think that he asked Rob maybe on the day of the baby news , taking him into the front garden to look at the plants. Now i think about it I can remember when Jennie was face timing Jessica, telling her about the baby, they eventually left the table and went to the front garden so it must have been then. Adam had originally thought he’d propose on holiday and was looking at restaurants, photographers and the like. He and Rob had been emailing people in France! looking at restaurants to do vegan food which are few and far between although they had found one where the chef would have done a 5 course vegan menu but it was going to be really quite expensive I think. Anyway he decided not to do it in a restaurant as he’d feel more nervous and thank dog he didn’t as I'm not sure Jennie could have coped either. It was then decided he was going to do it at the villa then go for a posh meal. Anyway he decided to do it on Saturday as Bob and Bett were there too which made it absolutely perfect. Such a thoughtful thing to do and so much more meaningful and everyone was so relaxed before and we could all chill and be happy afterwards too. Incredible day.
So that’s it. A wedding to plan lol.
