Clematis 'Jackmanii'.
Lending a hand in the front garden after my early ride around the “rolling”Shropshire countryside. A few drops of rain forced themselves out of the clouds but hissed as they landed on the warm dry earth.
I was entertained by two juvenile great spotted woodpeckers who started squabbling on the fat ball stand and ended up on the lawn in a frenzy of wings and flying feathers, all part of the survival process I presume.
