The Pied Wagtail

Sat in my office-in-the-tower for seven hours today being entertained by a Pied Wagtail diving at the windows presumably collecting tiny insects off the glass. There was nothing to see and he wasn't concentrating on the putty around the edges just swooping in, tapping the glass and flying away. I decided to photograph him. On my iPhone. I know.

So sixteen photos later I can more or less estimate when he's going to be airborne and now have sixteen photos in varying degrees of blurriness. This one seems to make the best blip. Others showed its claws spread and ready to grasp, others with beak down ready to tap. I suddenly understood the whole bird watching thing !
