Growing Cygnets

A lazy day as it was so humid again. Managed some laundry and then visited Polly in her garden for a good ol’ natter and cold drink in the shade.

Polly loaned me a navy dress to wear to B’s funeral tomorrow as my planned outfit would’ve been too hot.

Popped over to see bae just before he started work and we managed a few minutes in the shade together.

I took a stroll through the castle grounds afterwards and watched the swans and the growing cygnets. I saw the heron watching the fish on the cedar pond but couldn’t get close as it’s such a shy bird.
