Enjoying the lavender

Another hot day.

After work I’ve got dressed into my performance clothes and sang with Winchester Community Choir.

What a stunning evening. It was incredibly hot and I felt rather faint after singing many high notes. i also had the honour of singing a solo. At school I was never good enough and that stigma always stays with you.

We were raising funds for the Mayor’s charity and although the Mayor was not able to join us we were joined by the deputy mayor Angela Clear. I’ve met her before through the choir. I’ve never been hugged by s deputy mayor before.

What an amazing evening.
