Looking Through a Giant Onion

The title is a play on words. As I was processing these photos for this triptych I started sining ‘Glass Onion a song from the Beatles White Album. The line in the song goes ‘Looking through a GLASS onion’ near enough for a connection.

These shots where the last of quite a few I took in the garden today either using my 50mm f/1.4 lens with 21mm extension tube or the 100mm f/2.8 with and without an extension tube. These experiments come from a set of ‘free’ youtube videos on ‘Flower Art Photography’ from Dirk Ercken, they are free to me because I subscribe to his newsletter. Dirk comes from Belgium and I quite like his simple approach to Creative Flower Photography.
