Wild Raspberries

There were plenty of wild raspberries when I was on my walk up the Drove Road

My friend Pamela came round for lunch and to to pick blackcurrants this morning.  Between us we managed to pick quite a few but there are still plenty left. The pigeons have been busy stealing the blackcurrants over the last few days and then, to add insult to injury, they have been standing on top of the arbour and pooping on the seat making purple stains which are proving quite difficult to get rid of.  I have already made blackcurrant cordial and frozen some to be used in the future.  I am planning to make blackcurrant jelly next.
