This is happiness

The Ards Man in his happy place.

We had a brisk sunny sail up the Sound of Jura after a very dreich start in Gigha, where the sea and sky melded together in a misty greyness.

The weather is very variable for the next few days - nothing new there! As ever, the scenery is wonderful, although we’re spotting a lot of dead birds in the water, mostly guillemots. Apparently there has been an outbreak of bird flu and we’ve been seeing evidence of it right across the Irish Sea and now up in Scottish waters too.
