Ladybird on a Thistle

I spent the morning catching up with paperwork and emails as well as doing the June month end accounts.

Today’s picture is of a ladybird, sitting on a thistle head. I would have liked a better picture, but it did not hang around long enough to take one.

The temperature today at noon today was thirty-one degrees Celsius. It is still hot, but muggy and we have had a few drops of rain.
