Wind in the back

That was the hottest day yesterday, too hot to do anything outside until late in the day. Then we drove to the beach where we hoped for a nice walk. But the wind was blowing so hard that the sand looked like a waterfall over every little ‚hill’. See picture in extra. Way too much sand in eyes and hair.

Yesterday’s butterfly was a guest from California: “Lorquin’s Admiral”.
Sorry for a picture taken yesterday, but I took it so late that I thought it might count for today. Today it will be ten degrees cooler and the afternoon will be just as windy as yesterday.
