Is There, In Truth, No Evil?

On This Day In History
1963: The Moors Murderers begin their deadly spree

Quote Of The Day
"Ever see Moors murderer Ian Brady, study his photos, study Black, study Cannon, study Sutcliffe - study them all! Who says evil is not recognisable?"
(Stephen Richards, Insanity: My Life)

Does evil exist, or is everything a case of moral relativism?

It's an intriguing question. If all people who commit evil deeds can be redeemed and turn aside from evil, then perhaps evil does not exist.

But what if there are some people who commit evil who can never be redeemed and who have no wish to be redeemed? In that case, no matter the cause,  evil would surely be real and palpable.

Ian Brady's dying wish was to be buried on Saddleworth Moor; evil to the very end.
