Fighting For Light

It began to rain just as I went for a blip. The day was overcast and not that inspiring anyway. Sheltering under a tree, I spied these hostas, which have probably outgrown their space, and are fighting for light.

I thought, en-masse they they make an interesting pattern and the leaves have lots of texture, brought out by the black and white treatment. Ok for a grey day.
