Beach life
Joined Corinthian and M & C for M’s birthday trip up to Scotland for a few days. Staying at Newhaven Port near Leith, the hotel being right on the shoreline. We walked along the promenade this afternoon to Wardie Bay and out onto the promontory (not easy walking with a strong breeze, uneven stones and a drop at both sides) from where we could see across to the Forth Bridges. This area is a mix of lovely old buildings and very modern tall apartment buildings. The little harbour is right by the hotel, and there is. Lovely park nearby which was started by a minister in the land surrounding his house. The house is surrounded by stunning gardens and is a public place. Many were sitting or lying on the benches and enjoying the sunshine. More in extras. A very nice area to be. Delayed posting as the internet signal in the hotel was so weak my camera images wouldn’t download. Sorry about lack of blips and commenting!
