A Frantic Day

Everyone connected with our motorhome repairs was 'on the ball' this morning so it wasn't long before we knew the 'van' could be taken away this afternoon for repairs to be done over the next couple of days. Our travel insurance company found us a hotel and a taxi to take us to it.  The hotel is in Arthurstown - well over an hour's drive from Ardmore in the wrong direction! The taxi fare to get here was horrendous so we're very pleased we will be claiming that back!!

We had a very pleasant meal in a local hostelry and 'entertaining' company from a guy there for a meal with his family.  He was a non-stop talker and loud too so, although interesting, we were somewhat bombasted by the end. The blip is in the courtyard where we ate our meal.

Tomorrow we pick up a hire car to use until our motorhome is repaired and I'm sure we'll find lots of interesting places around this area until we get back on the road properly!
