A place we love

Today we went off to Parc du Marquenterre in Baie de Somme.  We had a slow start and got there mid morning.  It looked very busy but there was no issue going in.
 
We had a wander and straight away saw a few interesting birds. 
 
In one area we could see a few dead birds and asked a member of staff, like on the South East  coast some birds, particularly gulls, are suffering and dying from avian flu.  Such a shame.
 
We finished our wander and had some lunch in the sunshine and then headed off to the supermarket to get some dinner.
 
Back at our gite, Rich set up the BBQ and we had a very relaxing dinner.
