Ruins

I have been spending some time lately looking at other blipfoto journals (so many talented photographers in the world). I notice that many times I am drawn to their black and white work and decided to search for a monochromatic subject of my own in this colorful land. I discovered what I think is the perfect choice on the main road from Playa La Ropa to town. This partially completed building has been in this state since we arrived three years ago. We used to live two blocks from it and I passed by almost every day, yet I never thought to photograph it until I started actively looking for a B&W shot. Once my mind was focused on a monochrome image it was impossible to pass by.
