Romantic Meal For Two

My friend's birthday is 10 days after mine, so we celebrate together during the week between. Tonight we decided that pizza was the way to go (especially when we have money off vouchers).

Unfortunately, there are no photos of the garlic bread with mozzarella, or the goats cheese, caramelised onion & spinach pizza as they didn't last long enough. It was only when we got to desert that I suddenly thought, this was what I was going to blip.

Dough balls and nutella and a pot of tea weren't a bad way to end a meal though.

I think we took about 2 hours over our meal, and probably discussed every single subject known to man! Those are the best meals, when the conversation just runs and runs. Though as we were sat next to the restaurant's huge windows, there was the odd pause now and again to a little bit of people watching. :)

On our way home, we went via the airport, as it's been taken over by the army (the Dutch army I think) for a huge exercise. There were Apache helicopters, Chinooks, Gazelles, and all sorts of vehicles, not to mention all the lorries and such that are running around the roads, here, there and everywhere.

I think they use Carlisle airport due to RAF Spadeadam being so close. It's an interesting spot, well worth a look at the website.

It's funny to think that when we were 17/18 we used to go for a drive round the airport to see if there was anything exciting happening. 10 years later, we're still doing it!
