The iconic outline.....

....of a Lancaster Bomber, the sound is even more impressive.

Unfortunately I had no long lens with me, for that matter no camera equipment at all other than a mobile.

5 days a week I have most of my lenses in the car, at weekends I have a break unless I'm going somewhere I know I want a shot or there will be something interesting...this time I failed.

Luckily it got quite low and circled a couple of times right over my Mum and Dad's back garden as we enjoyed the sunshine on a Sunday lunchtime.
