A moment of reflection

A muggy sort of day today. We walked down to the town in the morning - it seemed a lot warmer coming back up! This lad was wandering along the harbour beach in the foreground of the reflection of the buildings on the North Pier - he was the only person on the beach. OK, it's not a 'sitting-n-the-sun' kind of beach, more a 'walking-the-dog' one!

Yesterday I nicked some more plastic drinks bottles from the recycling bin at Tesco, and this afternoon I cut off the tops and bottoms and returned to the Walled Garden to put them over the second batch of runner beans. I gave them all a good soak - with a bit of luck we'll have beans for Christmas!
