Arrived in Taunton at 9.30 on Sunday evening. Back to Graham's to make pastry, drink tea, and eat baklava (I made more).

On Monday morning we went to Exeter. Shopped, had cake and coffee in Boston Tea Party (seriously cool), more shopping. Caught the train supposedly to Exmouth, but got off at Topsham and wandered around there instead. Spent a while in a huge antique shop, saw some hilaaarious stuff.

Back to Taunton, and immediately set about making our pastry into a lemon meringue pie. I was in charge of the meringue part, and miraculously... it worked!! Paid a quick visit to Holly and Carol (the new chickens). Spent the evening at Andrew and Rose's swanky apartment. Rose cooked a deeelish risotto, we sampled the pie, then us girls absolutely annihilated the boys at Scrabble.
