A sun dappled neighbourhood cat.

The Feast Day of St. Benedict.
This morning is gloriously warm and sunny.
It is already 22.5c at 8:15am. I tend to avoid sitting out in the sun so I will find plenty to do indoors, until the cool of the evening. I have Audible books to enjoy.  I have watered the garden.
I went out for our newspaper and then strolled along to the canal site, where there was one narrowboat moored near the Canalside cafe.
The green algae had created a carpet on the canal water. The ducks seem to enjoy nibbling at it.
